HAS THE COURSE BEEN CONFIRMED?
The viability of all courses depends on advanced registration. Please do not
wait to see if the course has been confirmed before you register. If you and enough
people choose to wait, the course in which you are interested will probably be
cancelled due to lack of registrations. We can only count registrations that have
been received by us. Verbal confirmations do not count. Please fill in a registration
form and send it to the appropriate contact person with your payment as soon as
possible. If everyone sends in his/her registration in advance, chances are that
your course will go ahead as scheduled.
HOW WILL I FIND OUT WHERE THE COURSE IS BEING HELD?
Course locations will be confirmed once sufficient registrations are received
and you will be notified. The sooner everyone registers, the sooner we can book
a location and the sooner you will find out where the course is being held. Please
do not call the office asking about the location of the course unless you do not
receive this information by the week before the course is due to start.
MUST I INCLUDE PAYMENT WITH MY REGISTRATION?
Send in your completed registration form with full payment or a 50% deposit
of the course price. WETTs policy requires full payment on or before the
course date. If you do not pay in advance, you must bring your payment with you
to the course; otherwise you may be denied access to the course and requested
to enrol in a future course offering.
TO WHOM DO I MAKE MY CHEQUE PAYABLE?
For courses being held in BC, Alberta, Yukon Territory
and the Northwest Territories: WET-BC
For courses being held in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Nunavut: AWET-M
For courses being held in Ontario: WETT Inc.
For courses being held in New Brunswick and PEI: WETT-NB
For courses being held in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland: WET-NS.
WHEN WILL MY PAYMENT BE PROCESSED?
For the Code Compliance course, full payment (or at least 50%) will be processed
soon after your registration is received so that course materials can be sent
to you in advance. In preparation for the course, we suggest that you read the
entire WETT manual at least once, however materials will not be sent to you until
we receive your payment. It is your responsibility to ensure that payment reaches
our office in plenty of time to have your materials sent to you. Otherwise, you
will have to pick them up at the course.
For all other courses, payments will only be processed once the course has been
confirmed.
WHAT IF I FIND I CANNOT ATTEND THE COURSE
AFTER I HAVE REGISTERED?
Cancellations must be received in writing (letter, fax, E-mail). If your cancellation
is received more than 10 business days prior to the course start date, you will
receive a refund of 90% of the course price. If your cancellation is received
10-3 business days prior to the course start date, you will receive a refund of
75% of the course price. If your cancellation is received 2-0 business days prior
to the course start date, you will receive a credit towards a future course.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY EXAM
RESULTS?
Please do not call the WETT Inc. office for your exam results. A letter will
be sent to you within 8 weeks from the date that the Registrar receives your exam
in the WETT Inc. office. Please keep in mind that, at any one time, the office
is processing numerous exams from all over the country. Therefore, it is not always
possible for you to receive your results as quickly as you would prefer. We appreciate
your patience.
EFFECTIVE DATE OF CERTIFICATION
Your wall certificate and photo ID card will be sent to you once you have met all criteria for certification. This means that you must successfully complete your exams (at least 70%) and provide a properly completed Mandatory Declaration of Field Experience form and letter of reference to support your declaration form. Failure to submit a properly completed your declaration form and letter of reference may will result in further delay of your certification.
